Patrick Esq. is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern District of Florida, the Lee County Bar Association, and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Patrick McLain Esq. was born in Phoenix, Arizona and was raised in Tucson, Arizona. Mr. McLain graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Science degree and a Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law. Mr. McLain’s work history includes several national based construction companies where he held several executive level positions. Mr. McLain performed the executive functions as well as company representative in all legal disputes.
Mr. McLain has represented clients from all walks of life with a variety of legal issues. Mr. McLain has provided a proven defense for crimes ranging from the simple misdemeanor to first degree murder.

Malcam Godwin Esq.
Malcam Godwin graduated from one of the top law schools in the nation, Wake Forest University School of law. While at Wake Forest he was a two-time semifinalist in their litigation tournament while also holding the title of Vice President of the school’s Trial Bar.
While living in North Carolina, Malcam was part of the Innocence and Justice project. He traveled all over North Carolina advocating for defendants serving life sentences or on death row.
Since 2014 Malcam has served the Fort Myers community as an Assistant State Attorney for 6 years. He has tried over 45 jury trials, with the crimes ranging from DUI, theft, drug sales, Armed Robbery, burglary, kidnapping, aggravated battery, and arson.
Mr. Godwin believes that everyone has a right to compassionate, aggressive, and dedicated representation. Whether that representation involves a criminal charge or a civil issue, Malcam is here for you in your time of need.
Betty D. Gourley, RP, FRP
Betty Gourley moved to Lee County with her Husband and daughter in early 1995. Shortly after completing her legal studies program at Southwest Florida College of Business, she began her career in the legal field in August of 1995 and has remained ever since. Betty continued her education obtaining her Associates in Arts Degree from FSW (formerly Edison College) and completing the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam earning her certifications as a PACE Registered Paralegal with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. and a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar. In her spare time Betty practices the craft of tap dance, as well as clogging, ballet, and jazz. She is a member of the Dancing Divas dance team and a tap dance teacher at a local dance studio.
